Conway, SC, an Historic Town
Did you know that the county "seat" of Horry County is Conway. Tucked up against the Waccamaw River, the city has a charming "old town" district with historic buildings, antique stores, and an old tobacco barn where merchants brought their produce to sell and then transport down the river. While it has its modern side, it is the slow-flowing refurbished side by the river that is most interesting.
